Cute, quaint, place to stay in Austin Texas for honeymoon?
we are staying a couple of days in Austin for our mini honeymoon. I really like "the austin motel" but they are booked up. Are there any other quaint cute places to stay perhaps a bed and breakfast near downtown? I've been doing research but I need some help! Thanks. angel, why did you hate wimberly??I'm curious

- i live in austin and this place is extremely nice, and charming. perhaps you'll like it. http://www.sanjosehotel.com/
- If you type Bed and Breakfast Austin Texas into your search engine you will get a list of many places in Austin. Why not try Wimberly, Texas? Near Austin and cuter, quainter, and quieter than Austin. Austin is a college town and can get quite rowdy at night. But, maybe you would enjoy that if you are young and feisty. Congratulations on your wedding. Have a great time wherever you go.
- On my wedding night, before my honeymoon. I stayed at a bed and breakfast that was on avenue A, F, G?? I forgot....it's near guad. It was cool. We had a little room in the attic. Very private feeling, very close to downtown.
- Oh goodness...I don't know of any cute quaint places to stay. I would say go to the Four Seasons! And don't go to Wimberly. I went there and hated it.
- Most definately check out the Mi Yard bed and breakfast. It is owned by the same people who run the Flamingo Cantina (a super cool reggae club), so it is uber-chill. Pretty darn affordable given it's ammenities and location. Check it out at www.miyardbedandbreakfast.com.
- The Driskill. It's on 6th street and it's beautiful.
- The Stephen F. I don't know what it's' called now, but that's what it was in the 80's. The Roaring Fork is right below and it's in the middle of downtown Anywhere in Wimberly is great. There was this place off of 1431 and they have these little cottages. I don't know what it was called though. That's out in the Hill Country. It really depends on where you want to be. In the mist of the city or out in the hills.
- u should stay at a hotel near a lake, that way u can go swimming or on a boat....
